Biographie

Dino Buzzati Traverso, connu sous le nom de Dino Buzzati, né le 16 octobre 1906 à San Pellegrino di Belluno en Vénétie, mort le 28 janvier 1972 à Milan, est un journaliste, peintre et écrivain italien dont l'œuvre la plus célèbre est le roman intitulé Le Désert des Tartares. De son métier de journaliste lui vient l'habitude de chercher des thèmes et des récits de la vie quotidienne et d'en faire ressortir l'aspect insolite, parfois fantastique.
