Remarqué auprès du contrebassiste Omer Avital, le pianiste israëlien possède un style original qui réactive les éléments principaux du jazz -le swing, le blues, l'improvisation- de manière très personnelle. Marqué par John Lewis, Duke Ellington ou Ahmad Jamal, pianistes de la note juste au jeu économe, il revient ici aux fondements et à l'essence du trio avec le contrebassiste Yoni Zelnik et le batteur Donald Kontomanou.
